Responsibilities:
- Detailing precast concrete structures such as parking garages and industrial buildings;
- Layout and production detailing of precast concrete structures and connection components including architectural wall panels, beams, columns, tees, floor and roof members;
- Thoroughly cross-checking architectural & structural contract drawings for conflicts and checking connection access for erection;
- Accurately producing shop drawings to meet contract specifications;
- Effectively utilizing detailing software to produce quality drawings.
Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:
- Post Secondary education from Community College with a diploma in Engineering Technology;
- Previous experience in drafting/detailing using a computerized drafting software package would be a definite asset;
- The individual will be a team player with a positive attitude;
- On the job training will be provided.
